Lazy

Nice and relaxing weekend.

Friday; picked up a Cruzan calypso band at the airport. Poor guys, they were freezing.
It was my first time taking the new metro line there. Very practical, but i still hate the Copenhagen metro. It's all grey concrete and steel, there's no way to tell the stations apart.
And the interior is cobalt blue and yellow. The colors of the Swedish flag. Obviously.
Later, watched Superbad again with Allan and our Swedish/Irish customers.
Ate pizza.

Saturday; picked up our new TV at the postoffice. It's pretty big. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the picture quality. I expected to be blown away. I was not.
Allan worked on the computer.
Had icecream at a new place just around the corner, it's owned by a friend of a friend. He makes Sicilian icecream. It is goood.
Finished Weeds season three. Damn good as always. Started Big Love. Also good.
Ate sushi.

Today; didn't pick up anything but groceries.
Took a walk, watered Martins plants.
Saw a woman pee in the street (to be fair she was half in a shrub, but it was still pretty nasty. I mean, it was the middle of the day and she was less than 400 meters from a public toilet.)
Cleaned the bathroom. Did the laundry.
Now i'm making potatosalad.
And i'm listening to the Weeds soundtrack, i'm gonna order it soon i think.

So pretty

I need this!

So i was thinking, and Alice agrees, that i should cut my hair

Two out of three agrees, i should cut my hair again*.
The third one was, of course, a dude. He liked long hair.
Whatever, if all goes according to plan (mine and natures) it should grow back.

I was thinking something like this (and again, Alice was thinking the same thing):

Exciting

Nick's customer from yesterday told me that she reads my blog.
People read this. Who knew?

And to Helle: i'm ok, sorry for scaring you with my absence from the inter-world!

Allan's birthday was nice

Weather was good too.
Success!

We started the day with some breakfast in bed. Everyone likes breakfast in bedAllan had the very important job of transporting the cake to the shop
I was supposed to get tattooed on my own birthday, but since Lucifer went and ruined that by getting sick, we did it on Allan's instead. Thanks, babe!
What to get your husband on his 30th birthday? Well, a giant beanbag chair of course!
The birthday boy!
Martin and Suzy went a little nuts with the decorations
Lucifer helped Allan open his presents
Martin lighting up the grillFood good
Later today, or possibly tomorrow, we're picking up Allan's birthday present to himself, a big ass TV.

Ps. How to tell that you and your friends have grown apart: they forget your birthday, but remember your husband's!

Uncle blog marathon!

Go check Allan's multiple California posts from today.
Lots of pretty pictures, much better than the crappy ones you can find here.

Pictures like this one:

Go look!

Mel Gibson is in no position to give Britney Spears advice about anything

Why?
Because he is one sick and twisted motherfucker, that's why!

We watched Apocalypto last night.
Wow.

I liked it!

My birthday wasn't that great

But i did have a nice brunch at home with my family.
I'm gonna focus on that part.

My dad got me this. It's a tape player, for those not born in the 70's or early 80's
It was broken, but my dad fixed it

My grandfatherMy mom found this at a thriftstore, so cute!
And she made this for me, i love it

They picked me some roses from their garden, they smell so good

But i didn't even have cake, can you believe that?
Some birthday.

Se hvem jeg mødte i USA!

Da da da da da da da! Furillo!

Ps. Sorry about that, it's a very local thing!

Today is my birthday

We just got home last night, a bit jetlagged, but in that good way where you wake up way too early and super rested.
My ankles are still swollen though.
In other news, i'm so old. Like, super old.
Dammit.

Ps. I'm the tiny one in the middle.

Pps. If any of my doom 5 boys are reading this, I MISS YOU!!!

We're going home today

Just about finished packing.
My suitcase is too big and too heavy.
We have to return the car soon. We've become kinda close lately, me and the Magnum. It's been like a second home here. Not that i would ever want one in Denmark, but it works here.

Nope, still don't wanna go.

I'm still not shopping

Sort of.
I did buy "the three amigos" at Target.
But i didn't buy a thing at the giant fleamarket in Long Beach. It was too hot.
And i've been tired all day.
What else? Oh, went through a carwash, some experience that was!

Friday the 13th

Yesterday we went to LA.
I didn't feel like shopping (i know, sounds like a sick joke, but i really do have those days) so we just walked around, had some lunch, met up with a couple of danish buddies and Blaine at Canvas and had dinner at Swingers.
I ate a vegan wrap, i think it's the first vegan meal i've ever ordered.
It was good.
We got back to the shop around 10pm and got Jon to do some sweet friday the 13th tattoos on us.
This trip is all about the tiny tattoos!

I don't wanna go home

I was just reading the local news. It made me not wanna go back.
Nothing particularly bad happened, actually i read that some very important person has decided that Copenhagen is the best city in the world to live in.
But i still don't feel like being there.
There are people i don't wanna see, boring tasks that need to be done, financial crap that needs taking care of. And other peoples petty drama. Ugh.

Thankfully we don't go back until next week. And today we're going to Disneyland.

And now, random photos.

Having a smoothie before work (work, ha!)
If there was a hell, Allan would be going there for buying a jacket at this shop

Ink & Iron

I'm not used to blog breaks this long.
But a full weekend with no internet at all is healthy.

The convention went well. Allan had lots of work and we got to hang out with friends from all over.
Our buddy Blaine came down from LA to see us and i finally got to meet my myspace friend Corey (who is, from now on, just my friend Corey) from Canada.
Our friends Hata, Kaori and Hiro was there from japan, we even shared a booth with Hata.
Lots of other cool peeps too, even a few from good old Denmark.

Normal conventions can be stressful, but this one was just fun. Exhausting, but fun.
The highlights are unfortunately not suitable for a public forum, and no, that probably doesn't mean what you think it means!

Kaori, Klaus, Allan, bigass boat
Kind of a big deal-ism
Yellowpants meets Canada
Allan, Klaus and Chriss doing... yeah.
What is that?
Uh, a pelican!
Hata wanted to stay
