A post with food and shoes and other things that are good

Oh, hello Monday. You're looking surprisingly good today!

Monday means entering the last week of insane stress from hell before we're off to Japan again, and i'm feeling pretty good about that.
Not about being stressed of course, but about finally being able to see the results of our hard work.
Just a few more days, and we should be getting to the fun part. Not that the journey hasn't been a good one, cause it has, but that doesn't mean you can't look forward to it ending!
Thursday we're driving to Germany in my parents car with a bunch of paintings for the art show, and there's still a lot to be done, so i'm actually gonna get off the computer now, and try to figure out how best to spray paint yet another bunch of frames while it's crazy stormy outside!

On Saturday we worked (Sunday too), but on the way there i convinced Allan to go shoe shopping with me. It's been so long, i'd forgotten how, so i needed backup and my husband is surprisingly good at shopping for insane heels!

From the instagrams
(1. Spring at Conspiracy Inc. means planting flowers in the pots outside the shop! 2. My two (two!) giant shoe boxes... i couldn't decide! 3. Pair number one, Foxy, just like the ones my indian chick by Electric Pick is wearing 4. It finally happened; we finished Deep Space Nine, but that topic is gonna need a post of its own 5. I made some kimono fabric covered headbands with huge chrysanthemums and tiny lacquered origami cranes 6. The other pair; black suede Lita's)

Last nights healthy dinner: an almost perfect omelet and a salad made from whatever-was-in-my-fridge

It was actually pretty great, so i'll post the recipe for that further down

I'm trying to break these in, cause i wanna wear them this coming weekend, so i wear them around the house in the morning!

Me and Lucifer walked to work... the weather looks so innocent and not windy at all, but it's windy alright!

Ok, so the salad was just steamed green beans, chopped cabbage and arame, and it was served with Japanese goma dressing. So good!
Remember to soak the dried arame in cold water for about 15 minutes and drain it well after, and it's good to go!
This could have used a bit of goma shio, but i'm all out. But hey, i'll be in Japan soon enough, so no complaints here.
